Should you ever wish to call someone out for inappropriate behaviour, there’s a simple rule you should keep in mind when doing so.
Do not engage in the behaviour you’re calling the other person out for.
For example, if you want to call someone out on things they’ve said or written about women you should refrain from referring to women as somehow inferior to men. As strange as it may sound, once you call someone else a misogynist, it’s considered hypocrisy (at the very least) to precede to engage in misogyny yourself.
Amazon has apparently stripped the sales rankings of books on feminism, human sexuality and books for and about LGBTs for their “adult” content.
The books, such as Jessica Valenti’s Full Frontal Feminism, do not appear in searches and are blocked from showing up in certain lists.

I finally got around to reading this month’s issue of Freethought Today by the Freedom From Religion Foundation and as usual, it was not disappointing. Of all the articles this month it is the one by Barbara Walker titled “A Brief History of Marriage” that caught my eye. Apparently back in the day it was [...]
Attractive Girls Union Refuses To Enter Into Talks With Mike Greenman Utterly hilarious (via Amanda). Please see Jeff Fecke’s explaination of “Nice Guys” too. It’s pure gold.
I don’t know who I love more, Jon Stewart or Sam Bee for this segment on McCain’s use of scare quotes for practically everything that comes out of Obama’s mouth, up to and including the validity of women’s health when it comes to abortion:
