Since I think I’ve made it clear that I do not like Keith Olbermann it should come as no surprise to some of you that I found this clip from SNL hilarious:
I laughed so hard I was crying.
The ramblings of a non-apologetic militant atheist mom doing time in the lonestar state on atheism, religion, feminism, politics and current events.

So another Halloween has come and gone. As usual, the daughter ended up with a few pro-Christian tracts mixed in with her loot. I was not amused. However, I think our neighbours were far more restrained than a woman up in Detroit.
Her oh so very non-Halloween behaviour? She refused to give candy to kids who did not express support for McCain.
Her reasoning? Everyone has a “choice”. I suppose next year around this time she’ll agree that everyone had a “choice” to toilet paper her house, eh?

For reasons I now regret I decided to install the beta version of Wordpress. My opinion? It’s fucking ugly:
It’s too damn busy on the right and that menu thingy on the left is just plain nasty. Changing the interface is one thing, but striving to make it plain fucking ugly? WordPress deserves an award for they’ve definitely bypassed the qualifications for “Fugly!”.
I like Wordpress, but this so-called improvement, IMHO, makes it far more complicated than it needs to be.

A couple of days ago I posted a video of a young woman named Laci talking about why [some] atheists care about religion.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but Laci was suspended after PZ Myers also posted her video about two weeks ago after a theist of some sort demanded she take down her videos and promised to get her kicked off YouTube if she didn’t.
Laci’s video explaining the situation:
In case Laci should again disappear due to the cowardly behaviour of theists, here’s her MySpace page where she can be found.

From the Houston Chronicle:
Once again the liberal mainstream media has determined the outcome of a contest. The winner of the event would have been different if not for the obvious bias of the press.
I am speaking, of course, of the World Series “win” by the Philadelphia Phillies over the Tampa Bay Rays.
The liberal media reported on all the errors of the Tampa Bay team while all but ignoring the gaffes by the Phillies. Also, how about all the reports about how the Phillies had scored more runs than Tampa Bay. And one national TV “sportscaster” went so far as to say the Tampa Bay team used to be known as the “Devil” Rays. Was that really necessary?
I think I speak for all real Americans when I say that if the TV networks had been fair and balanced, Tampa Bay would have easily swept the Phillies.

Something has to be done to make sure this never happens again, eh?

One of my first official acts as a blogger was to post the 10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage Will Ruin Society I had found on another site.
Well, someone has went & made it into a video (check your volume, really obnoxious music when you click play):
And since the Internet is full of dumbasses, once again - No, I am not against gay marriage and no I do not hate gay people. I do, however, reserve the right to do to you what I did to Dan over Sarah Palin, capiche?
