In case you thought women were human
The state of Oklahoma would like to inform you that you are wrong.
Under the guise of obtaining informed patient consent, this new law requires doctors to withhold pregnancy termination until an ultrasound is performed. The law states that either an abdominal or vaginal ultrasound, whichever gives the best image of the fetus, must be done. Neither the patient nor the doctor can decide which type of ultrasound to use, and the patient cannot opt out of the ultrasound and still have the procedure. In effect, then, the legislature has mandated that a woman have an instrument placed in her vagina for no medical benefit. The law makes no exception for victims of rape and incest.
Can it be any clearer that abortion access is not about the precious babies, but about undermining the rights of women? What else do these jackasses have to do before people wake the fuck up?
Honestly, I swear sometimes we women should start rioting in the streets. What’s there to lose?

The baby as a separate entity has the right to life, liberty and the persuit of happiness. These babies have been crying in the wilderness too long and finally someone is hearing them. A nation must pay for the murder of the innocent.We will suffer economically and many other ways. Our undertakings are no longer smiled upon. Mans hearts have been turned to stone because of this crime. A real mother would die for her child and sacrifice her own life. We must wake up or pereish.
Even if we accept the argument that the fetus is a person it’s rights are still restricted by the rights of born persons. As no born person has access rights to another person’s body neither does the unborn person.

These people make me sick. I had no idea my vagina and uterus are property of the US Gov’t. Made me so mad, I wanted to GET an abortion! And I can’t even get pregnant! Sheesh!

To be fair, you do need to get an ultrasound before having an abortion so that the doctor can assess how far along you are, and in early pregnancy doing it vaginally is the best way to get a clear picture. But this law doesn’t have anything to do with that, it’s to satisfy their personal fetus fetish by making the pregnant hoor look at the baybee she’s about to kill.
What I’m now curious about is… does this mean baybee-murderin’ hoors have to get two ultrasounds? One to assess the pregnancy, and one to let her know what a baybee-murderin’ hoor she is?
