Keith Olberman is an asshole
Keith Olbermann recently blew a gasket and deemed Katie Couric the “worst person in the world” for bringing up sexism in the media.
In response, Rachel Sklar wrote a piece about sexism at MSNBC including Keith Olberman’s remarks about having someone beat/kill Hillary Clinton in order to get her out the race.
Keith’s response? He states that he’s “mildly alarmed” and not because of the criticism, but because Rachel allegedly invited herself to a party he was attending.
In other words, Rachel is stalking him and her latest post is just another sad, but alarming none the less, attempt to get his attention.
Keith Olbermann is a complete and total asshole. He is a fucking sexist no matter how much and/or how eloquently he criticizes Bush or any other Republican past, current and/or future.

Another reason to hate PETA
The woman by the police officers is Ashely Bryne, a coordinator for PETA. The officers are inquiring about the well-being of the two shrunk-wrapped women due to the hot weather that day.
Upon inquiry, Shawn Herbold (on the bottom) stated that she was in pain and feeling nauseated from the heat after being displayed like that for 30 minutes.
Byrne’s response to her statement? She had Herbold remain as she was for another 30 minutes while she debated the cops. As the photographer states – PETA would never treat a cow that way, but humans seem to be another matter.

Fox News calls Michelle Obama’s Baby Mama
You gotta see it to believe it. Fox News, while discussing attacks on Michelle Obama, flashes the phrase “quit picking on Obama’s baby Mama” several times.
A “Baby Mama” is a woman who has children with a man who was not and is not her husband.
This isn’t some neutral slam that applies to everyone. There’s no way in hell Fox News would call Cindy McCain or Laura Bush a “baby mama”. Hell, I doubt they’d even call Hillary Clinton a “baby mama”.
Why? Because all three of those women are white, not black. You simply do not call a white woman a “baby mama”. Who cares if they’re actually baby mamas - it’s an insult and you do not do it.
And no, Fox News calling Michelle this is not the same as Michelle introducing her husband as “my baby’s daddy” so don’t even try it. She’s saying “my child’s father”. Fox news is not saying “Obama’s child’s mother”.

What would happen if we invaded Heaven?
Apparently nothing:
Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been informed that our mission has been successful. The forces of the people are now in control of all key targets. Overcoming determined resistance … (interruption) … Excuse me, little resistance … (interruption) … I’m sorry, apparently no resistance at all, our forces battled … (interruption) er, strolled into … what appears to be a deserted realm.

Thinking leads to ignorance?
A church over in Shreveport, Louisiana recently decided to have an old fashioned book burning which was picked up by the local news.
Nothing new, really. Small Christian communities do it all the time here in the south it seems. In fact, there’s a church about 30 minutes north of here that should be doing it’s annual book burning any day now.
What I wanted to share was a quote by the guy who led it over on one of the news sites in response to a commenter.
Bless you…I am James the director. Now, Dixiechick, God’s rules are timeless…I do not think people are too stupid to think for themselves. But if they think for themselves they are choosing the path of least resistance that leads to ignorance and the Bible says God’s people perish for lack of knowledge. Then He sends people who love Him and His creation enough to wake them up. I love you!
Now, personally, I’d say the “path of least resistance” is actively choosing to not think for oneself. That’s how you end up truly ignorant. That’s how you end up standing around a fire watching, perhaps even participating, in the destruction of a book you probably haven’t even read but “know” is evil because your leader told you it was.
