What to do with us pesky non-Jews

by Karen on September 2, 2010

A rabbi in Israel wrote a book defending the murders of us non-Jews, whom the author describes as “uncompassionate by nature”, in order to curb our “evil inclinations”. The author also defends the intentional pre-meditated murder of babies.

What do you think some of his peers got together and did?  If you guessed “defended it, of course”, give yourself a cookie (via: Alternet):

Anti-Muslim graffiti

Anti-Muslim graffiti on side of mosque in TN telling Muslims to "go home"

Those who are supporting the anti-Muslim hatefest sweeping the nation may want to consider that the Taliban is seeing it’s support rise in the wake of the protests against the Park 51 community center:

Taliban officials know it’s sacrilegious to hope a mosque will not be built, but that’s exactly what they’re wishing for: the success of the fiery campaign to block the proposed Islamic cultural center and prayer room near the site of the Twin Towers in lower Manhattan. “By preventing this mosque from being built, America is doing us a big favor,” Taliban operative Zabihullah tells NEWSWEEK. (Like many Afghans, he uses a single name.) “It’s providing us with more recruits, donations, and popular support.” (via)

He goes on to say that they are expecting more western Muslims to join them and closes by predicting “the more mosques you stop, the more jihadis we will get”.

Islam, Italy & Women

August 29, 2010

It looks like the anti-Muslim bug that’s been going around has finally made it’s way to southern Europe. Apparently, Italy is one of those countries that not only gives money to religion, but has a list of “official” religions. Islam is not one of them and, if the bigots have their way, won’t become one [...]

Buddhism: Not biased, just sexist

August 26, 2010

Most religious groups balk at the idea of a woman being in charge. In fact, the Catholic church recently stating that ordaining women is on par with raping children. Other Christian groups have split because a woman was allowed to do more than clean the sanctuary. Not so with Buddhism. None other than the Dalai [...]

Christianity’s latest (absurd) whine

April 27, 2009

A few weeks or so ago a British man managed to get the Church of England to officially recognize that he was no longer a member. As a result of the publicity somewhere around 100 thousand Brits have downloaded the form requesting the church quit counting them as members. As you’ve probably guessed from the [...]
