GQ: Are you saying you think women have the right to choose abortion?
STEELE: Yeah. I mean, again, I think that’s an individual choice. […]
He goes on to state that Roe vs. Wade should be overturned on a technicality & that uterus control should be be localized which is par for the course.
However, the Rethugs have firmly planted themselves besides the professional Christian organizations that believe every sperm is sacred. They are so not going to like this.
He’s lifted the ban on embryonic stem cell research, is working on revoking the conscientious objector clause for medical personnel and he’s also established a new post in the state department for international women’s issues (source):
US President Barack Obama announced Friday the creation of a new foreign policy position designed to tackle global women’s issues.
Obama named Melanne Verveer, an aide in former president Bill Clinton’s administration, as ambassador-at-large for international women’s issues. She will serve at the State Department under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The appointment, which has to be approved by the Senate, “is unprecedented and reflects the elevated importance of global women?s issues to the president and his entire administration,” the White House said in a statement.
He will also be signing an executive order that will establish a White House Council on Women and Girls (source):

Upon hearing that South Carolina has passed a bill requiring a 24 waiting period between forcing a woman to get an ultrasound and letting her get an abortion one may pause to wonder why.

Below is a video of an Irish women named Louise talking about her abortion interspersed with commentary about the state of reproductive freedom in Ireland. In short, there is none.

Since most opponents of reproductive freedom and choice don’t have a reasonable leg to stand on they’ve often resorted to plain old lying to women in order to roll back the law on abortion. One their lies is that women who have an abortion are at serious risk of developing something they call “post abortion [...]
I’ve said it time and again that religion is no friend to women nor any man who is not personally offended that he entered this world via a vagina.
As evidence I’d like to point ya’ll towards this post by Nullfidian about a toy for the children of Catholics born with the only genitalia acceptable [...]
