For example, the leader of the "Gang of Moderates " that came up with this amendment is <a href="http://www.ontheissues.org/social/Ben_Nelson_Abortion.htm" rel="nofollow">a Democrat who supports amending the US constitution</a> to protect unborn children: <blockquote>I am pro-life.
