Why do they hate post-born babies?

If there’s one thing conservatives love to whine about it is the ‘pre-born babies’ that are ‘murdered’ every day in America.  So you’d think they’d actually give a fuck or two about ‘post-born babies’, right?

Wrong. Greg Sargent got his hands on a list of things they would like eliminated or reduced from the stimulus package:

Eliminations:

Head Start, Education for the Disadvantaged, School improvement, Child Nutrition, Firefighters, Transportation Security Administration, Coast Guard, Prisons, COPS Hiring, Violence Against Women, NASA, NSF, Western Area Power Administration, CDC, Food Stamps

*****************************

Reductions:

Public Transit $3.4 billion, School Construction $60 billion

*****************************

All of the bolded ones directly impact children. For such a pious group that claims to loves children, you’d think they’d rather cut spending (instead of increasing it) on “Defense operations and procurement” not school and food related programs.

Of course, they don’t love the children and every now and then they let their guard down and expose themselves as the bloody liars they are when it comes to issues that actually impact children.  Exhibit Nine-Gazillion: the memo Sargent got his hands on.

Because they are evil, this is consistency not contradiction.

I’m only talking about religious leaders, I’m not think the followers conceived these ideas, they are incapable of original thought.

True, but I can’t resist pointing out how they consistently screw kids over every chance they get. For example, the leader of the “Gang of Moderates ” that came up with this amendment is a Democrat who supports amending the US constitution to protect unborn children:

I am pro-life. I am opposed to abortion except to prevent death of the mother and support amending the Constitution to protect unborn children.
