I voted for Obama & Biden this Friday, but as it get closer to Tuesday I find myself getting more and more worried about what’s going to happen.
I’ve voted for Democatic nominees in the past, but this one seems extremely personal.
We seem to be, as a nation, standing at a turning point in our history and I think we’re going to make it.
But…
King George has already pulled off two wins and with McCain’s embrace of Rove…
I don’t trust that fuckwit as far as I can throw him which isn’t far thanks to a bum shoulder. Being the suspicious, distrustful and cynical bitch that I am I expect the Rethugs to cheat like it’s going out of style.
So, I shall be spending Tuesday evening at the Saucer here in Houston. How about you? What are your plans for this Tuesday?

I’ll be spending it out in Nacogdoches, doing a site visit of schools in the area, and then driving back to Austin. So it looks like I’ll be spending the 4th in the classroom or in the car. I’m hoping to get back in time for a little revelry/sorrow-drowning, whichever it is.
I’m scared, too. I just can’t wait for this to be over.
I’ll be home, glued to CNN thinking the same thing as you…hoping with all my might the christian right won’t be allowed to continue their hold on America.
I took the day off from work to volunteer. Afterwards, hopefully, I’ll be sitting back, eating celebratory pie, drinking celebratory beer, and then going to bed early.
Coming home straight after work, parking myself in front of the TV and watching Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
I voted on Saturday, but my stomachs in knots just thinking about what might happen. I’m even considering moving to Canada if McCain wins!
