The religious right and other assorted religious bigots love to scream about how they’re being persecuted here in America. Some are so damned bad they’ve declared telling them to leave you alone is an act of persecution.
The fact of the matter is that Christians are in fact persecuted in the United States. One such Christian is Barack Obama who has went through months of having his Christian beliefs attacked.
For example, the following video:
Surely the religious right and the rest of the bigots will start screaming about this attack on Obama’s deeply held religious beliefs?
Nah, of course not. They are the one’s attacking Obama’s religious beliefs as this the video is by the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission. It’s mission states that it intends “to advance religious liberty by protecting Christians from defamation, discrimination and bigotry from any and all sources…”
So what we have here is the religious right admitting once again that they define “defamation, discrimination and bigotry” as disagreement with them.
