90 Day Jane is due to kill herself a little over 80 days from now. She’s not crazy, depressed or any of that – she’s an atheist who thinks life has no greater purpose. There’s just no point to living, especially since her generation hasn’t had the experience of a “great depression” nor does it have a “great war” to claim as it own . It can also only count beating Halo 3 as it’s “greatest obstacle”
She doesn’t want our help and the blog is not a cry for attention. Fine – I’m happy to ignore her and her last days. In fact, I think that might just be the “cure” for Jane.
She’s painted herself as so unbelievably self-centered that she thinks being safe from abject poverty, genocidal attacks and being murdered by “unknown persons” is a bad thing.
It takes a special kind of disgusting to try and appropriate those kind of experiences, especially to compare murdering people to beating a silly video game.
Of course, it’s probably a hoax and one that may be aimed at showing how terrible it is to be an atheist.
For, as you all know, when we aren’t being arrogant and running the universe, we’re about as self-centered as they come and realizing that we don’t get to live forever like our humble theistic brethren is always a good reason to off ourselves.
Who says this about atheists? That would be Christians here in the United States and I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Jane is a Christian’s wet dream version of an atheist, right?
