Two non-profit journalist organizations have concluded that Bush lied and that his lies “were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.”
Bush only stated that Iraq had “weapons of mass destruction”, was trying to obtain weapon’s grade plutonium from somewhere in Africa and that Saddam Hussein had connections to al-Quida.
Those were lies?! Really?!? Say it ain’t so!!!!!
Seriously, if anyone still needs to be told that Bush and company lied their way into being allowed to invade a sovereign country that was of no threat to the United States…
I’m just going to have to shoot myself or the cat.

"People who advocate freedom, yet deprecate agitation, are people who want crops without plowing the ground. They want rain without the awful roar of the thunder and lightning.
Without struggle, there is no progress. This struggle might be a moral one. It might be a physical one. It might be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle.
Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. People may not get all that they pay for in this world, but they certainly pay for all that they get." ~ Frederick Douglas
Like you, I hardly consider it “news” that Bush misled us into war, and your tongue-in-cheek “wow” suits the situation.
But as long as Bush continues to maintain he was right (and he does), studies like this are quite useful. The media and the public still need to speak truth to power.
