At the time, many speculated that she was really running the country and Bill was just her puppet. If this is even a little true, it suggests that she is more than qualified for the Presidency. I cannot help but wonder if those who criticized her on these grounds before now feel stuck because they are trying to have it both ways and failing miserably. BTW, I do not support Hillary as the Democratic nominee, but my reasons have nothing to do with either her sex or her competence. I see her as the most right-leaning of the Democratic candidates, and I want someone more progressive. Having said that, I would vote for her over any of the Republican nominees.
