I’m still using XP myself, but from everything I’ve read and/or heard – Microsoft’s Vista is hell in a box.

Once you come to an understanding of it’s quirks, Vista isn’t that much worse than any other Microsoft OS. But “hell in a box” is a good description for the first week or so of use.
KC:
When my old computer conked out about a month ago, I was just days away from the deadline for a project I was working on. So I had to rush out and get a computer fast, fast, fast. You know the only OS available in stores, right?
Well, much to my surprise, Vista has quite a few improvements over XP. I’m not having any trouble with it whatsoever, and actually like some of the new features. It turns out that the annoying pop-up asking your permission to continue with a process seems to happen only when you download software from the net. It’s actually a good idea, although a bit of a pain-in-the-neck — if you’ve intended the download. If you’ve accidentally called for the download, or if it’s trying to force its way onto your computer without your knowledge at all, the option to say “Nope” is a good thing.
Guys, ya’ll are missing the point. It’s Microsoft. It’s evil by default.
Great video! I’m using XP too, but I’m probably going to have to get a new computer soon. I was thinking Mac, but I’m not crazy about the all-in-one designs of the iMacs and I keep hearing that their new OS is having many problems too.
