Pope threatens Catholic Politicians with excommunication

Pope Benedict has finally dropped all pretenses and has threatened pro-choice Catholic politicians with excommunication in the wake of Mexico City’s legalization of abortion.
The Pope was asked whether he supported Mexican Church leaders threatening to excommunicate leftist parliamentarians who last month voted to legalize abortion in Mexico City.
