An Italian comedian by the name of Andrea Rivera recently had a few things to say about Pope Benedict XVI as well as the Catholic church and the Pope is not too happy about. In fact, he considers the remarks to be acts of “terrorism”:
The Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano described as “terrorism” an Italian comedian’s criticism of Catholic Church teaching.
“It is terrorism to launch attacks against the church,” the newspaper said in a back-page article May 2, the day after one of the performers at Rome’s annual May Day concert criticized the church in comments broadcast on state-run television.
“It is vile and terroristic to throw stones against the pope,” the newspaper said.

The “attack” was a snarky statement about the pope’s stance on evolution and the churches involvement in the funerals of well known dictators such as Pinochet.
I guess they’re finally aware that we’re all a bit onto the whole persecution complex they’re all so good at.

"People who advocate freedom, yet deprecate agitation, are people who want crops without plowing the ground. They want rain without the awful roar of the thunder and lightning.
Without struggle, there is no progress. This struggle might be a moral one. It might be a physical one. It might be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle.
Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. People may not get all that they pay for in this world, but they certainly pay for all that they get." ~ Frederick Douglas
