Anti-Choice Terrorist plants bomb at Austin Clinic

Here it is, one week after the SCOTUS decision and a bomb has been discovered on the grounds of a clinic in Austin.

From the Houston Chronicle:

AUSTIN — A package left at a women’s clinic that performs abortions contained an explosive device capable of inflicting serious injury or death, investigators said today.

“It was in fact an explosive device,” said David Carter, assistant chief of the Austin Police Department. “It was configured in such a way to cause serious bodily injury or death.”

The package was found Wednesday in a parking lot outside the Austin Women’s Health Center, south of downtown Austin.

Nearby Interstate 35 was briefly closed, and a nearby apartment complex was evacuated while a bomb squad detonated the device.

This piece was titled “Explosive found at Austin women’s clinic” and is exactly 94 words long. No mention of the long established pattern of abuse, assault, harrassment nor the past bombings and murders by these terrorists. Nope. Just an “explosive”.

Imagine that a bomb capable of causing “serious bodily injury or death” had been found outside of a bank, a school, a stadium - you know, somewhere important.

Not only would the chickenhawks be screaming about the “terrorists”, but the national media would be paying attention also. And they would use the right word. Terrorism.

But a bomb at a clinic for women? Ho-hum. Just another day in America.
