Won’t do that again
Know what happens when you install a Microsoft beta under “what could happen” thinking? I’ll tell you. Your computer won’t reboot properly after a crash, forcing you to reinstall the OS just to find out you can’t activate it and the support folks don’t know what the f’ went wrong. So, you have to find the old version and once you get it reinstalled you get to spend a couple of weeks reinstalling everything else. That is - once you find all the discs and hunt down the required serials.
And all the while you’re pre-schooler will enjoy learning the proper context for the words ‘damned’, ’shit’ and ‘jesus christ’ when they’re not telling complete strangers about how their mommy’s mad at the ‘damned computer’.
