Via the Greenbelt comes the story of the church in Tennessee that is erecting what can only be called a desecration. They’ve taken Lady Liberty & turned her into a symbol of Christian Theocracy.
She now holds a cross, the plaque now has the commandments on it and her crown is a crown of thorns.
Where’s the amendment for this? Why are the Senators & Representatives who so so wanted to pass an amendment to stop flag burning not tripping over themselves to damn this atrocity and ban it by amendment?
Because lets face it - if any symbol in this country stands for liberty - it’s the Statue of Liberty.
