And, of course, there are those that feel this is the case. A wonderful, oppressive invention by which to subjugate the weak-minded.

i am an atheist also and completely agree with what you said. im not sad or lonely without the faith of god in my life, because i have faith in my life as a whole and i have many friends and family that provide me with love and support when they are needed. (not to offend anyone) but i dont have to believe in something that i don’t think is there to feel fulfilled!
